Jacobs studied acting from the age of eight and took classes on Saturdays at the Pittsburgh Playhouse. Mt. Jacobs and leaving Lebanon High School and moved to New York City in the year 2000. She became part of in the Drama Division of Group 33. In 2004, she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree.
